PRACTICE SCHEDULE/CU CAMPS
The Clarion University cheerleaders spend a lot of time in the gym
practicing. We practice on average 17 hoursper week, but most put in extra
time on the side. Our schedule for the spring semester looks like this.
Monday-----Tuesday-----Wednesday-----Thursday-----Friday-----Saturday----Sunday
5-6:30---------(OFF)-------(GAMES)--------(5-7)------(4-6)-------GAMES----(6-8)
Monday is spent partner stunting, which the rest of the time is spent
working on pyramids, tumbling, and sidelines. Other practice activities
include liberty contests, and squad social events. We also have a lot of
community service events that we participate in. Examples of these events
are Spring for Scholars, Autumn Leaf Festival events, and teaching camps
as well.
Teaching camps is one of the ways that we fundraise to attend our own
nationals competition that we will be attending in April. Some of our
squad taught all over the country with different organizations. This gave
local highschools some of the best camps anyone could offer in the area.

Anyone who is interested in having CU teach a highschool squad can
contact us at
cheerleaders@mail.clarion.edu
, and we would be happy to answer any questions that you have. Again,
most of our squad has taught for one or more professional
organizations(Elite Cheer Camps, NCA etc), and are well qualified. We
specialize in stunt clinics, safety, cheers, sidelines, and dance.
