Our mission:

1. To foster and promote transdisciplinary scholarship, learning and application in environmental science and stewardship.

2. To form productive partnerships with public and private stakeholders to insure ecologically and economically sustainable use of the natural resources of Pennsylvania's northern Allegheny Plateau and adjacent regions.

3. To promote education and outreach endeavors that inform the public about important environmental issues that affect the region, nation and world.
